Oh hey, it's an R2D2 mail droppy thing near my house! |
These were my goals for September:
I let them grow out until the 29th and then reshaped them!
Have at least one video done and uploaded onto my YouTube channel.
This didn't happen. Unfortunately my skin broke out like mad in September and I actually didn't wear makeup at all throughout the entire month. With that being said, I really didn't want my first video to be shot with no makeup and on top of that have my skin looking and feeling the worst it ever has.
I think that I'm satisfied enough to cross this off. I've got most of the basics down.
Not gonna lie, I literally just got done painting my nails.
It's on its way through the post right now!
This I totally did, but had to throw away a big part of the middle. I'm tweaking the recipe and will be remaking it (and posting about my experiences) soon.
At my followup appointment for the medication (see below), I asked my doctor to refer me. That's all I really could do because medical out here is ridiculous and you have to go through your primary care physician if you want to see any other type of doctor.
Yep. Had the followup and everything. It's making me too drowsy to function like a human person though, so we'll see how that goes...
I finished this book super early on in the month. It took me two sit-downs to read and was probably my favorite so far in the series.
I think 8 out of 9 is awesome and I'm super proud of myself! I'm really liking this "goal making" thing, so here goes what I want to accomplish in October:
- For real start my YouTube channel.
- Paint my nails again.
- Make a better batch of funfetti brownies.
- Put up listings for at least some of my ill-fitting clothing and shoes on my storenvy.
- Prepare for NaNoWriMo.
- Wear fake lashes at least once.
That's all I have for the upcoming month. Hopefully I'll be spending a whole lot of time taking/editing pictures for the blog, writing posts, and filming/editing videos in October!
What are you goals for next month?

They're dangerously delicious! I will definitely be making a post once I figure out the best way to do it.
DeleteI can't wait to see you on Youtube! I need to get prepared for NaNoWriMo too!

I was SO unprepared last year. I'm pretty sure I got to about 23,000 words... which is nothing to sneeze at, but I just kept hitting blocks. I'll have all this month to start developing ideas! Do you have a NaNoWriMo account? We should be frandz!
DeleteIt's awesome you got so many of these done! I'm looking forward to your youtube video for sure :3! I love setting little goals like these month to month and you're really inspiring me to try to do so for myself again.
ReplyDeleteAlso, skin care - tea tree oil. Srsly. Just dab a tiny bit on a pimple and it's gone over night!
I feel like it's helping me actually to do things. If I didn't have this list, I probably wouldn't get anything done this month (aside from blogging, that is). My anxiety/depression makes it difficult for me to get motivated, but keeping a list and putting it out there for people to see holds me accountable and I end up having more fun/being productive!
DeleteI'll see if I can get my hands on some tea tree oil. I'm actually really happy with my current skin care now (I'm all cleared up!), but having something that will get rid of pimples overnight will be nice to add to my arsenal! Plus, I think I can use it on my scalp to help with my eczema. :D
I love the mail box I wish we had those in the UK!! I would love to see youtube videos as it is great to hear people as well as read their words x
ReplyDeleteIsn't it adorable?! It's around the corner from my apartment! I had always wanted to see one in real life, so I'm glad my hubby and I went on a walk and found one!
DeleteI get so self-conscious about my voice. I have a little lisp too, so that doesn't help. XD
i have always wanted to wear fake eyelashes! i ever have! i feel like i might for this halloween now!

I've only worn them once or twice and I'm definitely not great at applying them! Haha.
DeleteI need to start monthly goals for myself. Uhmmm Let's see how many things I accomplish.
ReplyDeleteIt's super helpful, for me at least! Even just making a list of accomplishments sounds great!
DeleteI'm with ciaa! I need to start making monthly goals too! Would you mind if I borrowed this idea for my own blog? I kind of make random goals in a notebook but then forget about it. I feel like if I post it in a more public forum, I'll be *ahem* more accountable.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you hit 8 out of 9 goals too! So many of my goals are breaking bad habits so I usually fail at all of them, lol.

Oh, please, go ahead! The reason I started posting them on my blog was to hold myself more accountable! Haha.
